Morse's Tea repainting

The painter in a crow's nest repainting the historic Jewish Warehouse building in downtown Halifax.

I happened to witness this, and thought I should share the photo I took.

Last week, the Morse's Tea facade was painted over with white paint.  It's not clear what the intent of this move was, but it was met with a huge backlash.  The property owner, Louis Reznick of Starfish Properties emailed the CBC to inform them that the painting is part of a project that will leave the 1841 building looking "restored, rejuvenated, and rebranded".

Sorry for the short post, more to come.
