I happened to witness this, and thought I should share the photo I took.
Last week, the Morse's Tea facade was painted over with white paint. It's not clear what the intent of this move was, but it was met with a huge backlash. The property owner, Louis Reznick of Starfish Properties emailed the CBC to inform them that the painting is part of a project that will leave the 1841 building looking "restored, rejuvenated, and rebranded".
