Easter Seals Drop Zone - Halifax 2013 [Events]

My shots from the Nova Scotia Easter Seals Drop Zone event this year are pretty limited.  I was only on the roof for about half an hour during my lunch break, which wasn't long at all!

Two groups got to rappel down 1801 Hollis during my stay, after each participant raised $1500 for the Easter Seals Charity.  There were many more groups doing the rappel, both at 1801 Hollis St and at the Macdonald Bridge.  Needless to say, this is a great event for the Easter Seals for their publicity and to reward the participants with one hell of a thrill ride!

As you can probably tell, it was quite a view, and a long way up!  In fact, you take the elevator to the 22nd floor then go up another flight to get to the roof.  It's a pretty fantastic sight.

Here is the view from the bottom, a bit overexposed (shhhh, don't tell anyone!)

For the brief period of time I was there, it was a great bit of fun, and I hope to participate for more of the event next year.  The Easter Seals are a great cause, and the view is amazing!
